Mumbai (Bombay)

Now we´re in Mumbai (aka Bombay), India´s most populous city and the most modern one. Here women can be seen on the street that are dressed in jeans and other typical western clothing in stead of the traditional Indian dresses. Pizza hut and McDonalds are also here but since the cow is holy, there is no beef on the menus. Therefore McDonalds here is the first I´ve been in that does not have a Big Mac or the traditional cheese- or hamburger on the menu.
Yesterday evening we even went to the cinema to see "Be Cool" and to our surprise there were no subtitles although Hindi is the dominant language here and not nearly everyone here speaks English.

Today we´re going to do some last minute shopping before we try to get on a flight to Frankfurt tonight. Maybe we´ll be back in Europe tomorrow morning.
